If you're planning to visit the island for a cycling holiday, Athol House makes an ideal base.

We're centrally located in Douglas, a few minutes ride from the ferry terminal, where you can bring your own bike across or hire one from Isle of Man Cycle Hire.

When you return each evening, Douglas is the place for restaurants, bars and entertainment.

Best of all, when not in use, you can lock your cycles up in our secure yard, leaving you free to enjoy Douglas.

Cycling on the Isle of Man

With quiet winding country lanes, designated cycle routes and more challenging uphill routes, the Isle of Man is suitable for riders of all ages and abilities.

Douglas itself makes an ideal base as it is quite central to the Isle of Man, making it is easy to explore different areas of the island's beautiful countryside and dramatic coastal scenery each day of your stay.
